"Dust in the wind"

Alexander, Nepoleon, Tipu, Pazhassi
E is m and c square they say
Heroes and formulas all the way
"Kansas" said "Dust in the wind"
How much does it matter to know
Counting money in millions for Larry
Is what's feeding my baby today

  1. cool!
the line with the expression 'pavanayi shavamayi' is very restrictive, won't survive a region and period. how about replacing it with something like 'all gone the way they came'...or something more poetic?
then you will have to change the heading too.

  2. I simply let it roll. Was not really thinking about space or time. I found it funny that a phrase was coined out of a movie.

  3. reading this, i was reminded of an old poem:

    here where a thousand captains
    swore grand conquest,
tall grasses their monument. (by Basho)

'pavanyi savamayi' is a pretty deep statement, though the scene elicits laughter in the movie.
