First time
The other day a friend asked me: Can you look at the world as though you are seeing it for the first time, hearing its sounds and sensing its smells for the first time? Like the newborn opening up its five senses to its surroundings? Without searching for words in one language or the other to represent what you see, hear, smell, taste or experience by sense of touch so that you can store it up in your memory? Without naming anything to reduce the real into symbols? Allowing the whole of it to flood into you? Just try it. Its a wonderful experience.
Saw this post on one of the comments on my uncles poem. Find it perfect today, everyday...

Road trip-Bangalore
Topple and rumble, spine o mine
Dust and filth, eyes o mine
Rattle and honk, ears o mine
Wobble like a drunkard
Body o mine
Life
Drums blazing and crackers resonate
Death and mirth, holding hands.
- Saw a truck loaded with flowers and men surrounding a corpse. The entire Indranagar(100ft road) was forced to witness this huge celebration.

Respect out of fear
One is forced to think, feeling of respect is superficial and lacks depth of all the emotions. The respect that we carry for our leaders, whether in corporate, political or religion, is never out of a deep feeling of love. It is always about the power that translates to the pain he/she can inflict if one is casual with him/her. Or it is about money which when translated becomes fear of losing ones share. The person with flesh, blood and bone is of little significance unless he masquerades himself with fame, power and riches. A grim countenance replaces the otherwise baby face.
